Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's rooms were exactly what I hoped for - clean and neat, but a little dark for my taste due to the reception tent. The service was outstanding, from the front desk to the valets, and very helpful. Located in a somewhat removed residential area, it made up for it with shopping conveniences nearby. The dining was busy but delicious, especially at Scott's, although the homemade bread was a highlight. The facilities were nice with plenty of choices available.
The hotel's location is a bit of a challenge, about five miles south of downtown Sacramento off interstate 5, but it makes up for it with shopping conveniences and a beautiful setting next to the river. The rooms are comfortable, but with some shortcomings in cooling off at night and potential noise issues. The service is remarkable with incredibly friendly staff, though there are some aspects that might deter me from returning. Overall, the hotel offers a nice experience combined with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was just what I hoped for. The rooms offered a nice view and were equipped with an old couch. However, the lack of curtains, other than flimsy shades, and the presence of cobwebs were a downside. The service was incredibly helpful and sweet, especially when the Assistant Manager, Bayron, assisted us graciously. The location was convenient, right next to the river and easy to find in a quiet part of town. The dining experience, particularly at Scott's Seafood, was busy yet delicious. The facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
